What makes Certainsure different from other insurance providers?
At Certainsure we focus on getting your policy right the first time. We build one-on-one client relationships, tailor cover to your specific needs, and make sure there are no surprises at claim time. We also draw on years of experience across the insurance industry to find solutions that really work.
Where are you based and do you only serve local clients?
We are proudly based in Gansbaai and Kleinmond, but our services extend nationwide. Through online and remote support, we help clients across South Africa with the same personal care and attention.
What types of insurance do you offer?
We provide a full range of short-term insurance products, including domestic insurance (for homes, vehicles, and personal property), agriculture insurance (for farms, crops, and machinery), business insurance (for commercial, retail, and professional sectors), and value-added products (such as vehicle excess waivers, roadside assistance, and liability cover).
Can I insure both my personal and business assets with you?
Yes. We can put together packages that protect both your personal property and your business assets, ensuring that all areas of your life are covered under reliable policies.
How do I know I’m not over-insured?
At Certainsure we start by completing a thorough analysis of your exposures and risk requirements. This allows us to determine the correct values for your cover. We use several methods of risk value calculation to ensure accuracy. Being slightly over-insured is not always a problem, as it can sometimes provide a buffer for unforeseen circumstances. Our goal is always to balance protection with value, so you are properly covered without paying for unnecessary extras.
Why do I need insurance?
Very few individuals or businesses can afford the risk of being uninsured. The thought of losing everything you’ve worked so hard for is daunting — and in some cases, going without insurance can be financially devastating.
Insurance protects your valuable assets against losses caused by fire, storm, water, wind, theft, accidents, and many other risks. It also covers you against liability claims if your actions cause harm, injury, death, or property damage to others.
In short, insurance provides the safety net you need to carry on with confidence. The risk of being uninsured is simply not worth it.
